John Schooler here, we've had a great start to the week for the stock market. The S&P 500 and the NASDAQ both hit all-time highs. We have not had a correction in 18 months. That's a long time to go without a correction, however, the argument is that within the market we've already had our correction. This occurs one some stocks and sectors selloff while others catch a bid and go higher. This internal correction or sideways move can work off some of the excesses of the market. However, Remember corrections can occur any time and for any number of reasons. Certainly a scary time for residents in Louisiana and the storm is definitely impacting the oil and gas industry. Our hearts and payers go out to those affected.
